Akihiro Ishida (石田 章宏 Ishida Akihiro) is a worker at Alpha Trading Office in the New Yokosuka Harbor District, Yokosuka, Japan in the game Shenmue.
Biography[]
Akihiro works at the general affairs department for the Alpha Trading Office. He runs around the harbor delivering documents. His favorite pastime is making a tour of secondhand bookshops. On his day off, he often goes out to the bookshops in Tokyo, looking for rare and valuable copies of first editions. When he happens to find a copy of a famous writer's first edition, he keeps it in the safe at home without telling his wife about it. He often locks himself in his room to look at it, smiling at himself for his valuable find. His wife, two years older than him, is seriously thinking that she should call for advice to a TV program giving consultation to troubled viewers.
