Arm Wrestling (腕相撲 Udezumou) is a mini-game Ryo Hazuki can partake to win money in the game Shenmue II.
Gameplay[]
Ryo can challenge various competitors to Arm Wrestling. To win Ryo must overcome his opponents grapple and pin his arm down on the table. This requires the player to rapidly press the prompt shown on screen. As the competition goes on directional QTE prompts also appear which can lead Ryo to advance forward or fall further back. If Ryo presses the button prompt before the bookie announces "Fight!" three times he will be disqualified.
If Ryo wins, he can often challenge the opponent again with an increased wage. Ryo can play against the same opponent up to five times with the fifth win resulting in the opponent forfeiting any future matches against Ryo.
