Hang On (ハングオン Hangu On) is an item available as a raffle prize in the game Shenmue.
How to Obtain[]
Prize[]
Ryo can win the Hang On game from the raffle - Which is accessible within both the Tomato Convenience Store (Dobuita) and Tomato conveniece store witin the Harbor Lounge. To enter Ryo must purchase one of the following:
- One of the Cassette Tapes
- Caramel
- Chocolate
- Potato Chips
If Ryo draws a 2nd prize ticket he will be able to chooese between Hang On or Space Harrier.
Use[]
Shenmue[]
Ryo can use the Hang On game at the Hazuki Residence living room on the Sega Saturn. The console is stored in the TV cabinet, once Ryo has placed it ontop of the TV unit he can select the game in his inventory to play it.
Shenmue II[]
The Hang On game can be transferred to a new Shenmue II save from a cleared Shenmue I save with it in the inventory. This can only be done in the Dreamcast version and the 2018 re-release Shenmue I & II, since Shenmue I was never released on the original Xbox.
It can be sold for money at the Green Market Pawnshop in the Green Market Quarter, Wan Chai and at the Great View Pawnshop and Kowloon Pawnshop inside the Great View Building in the Thousand White Quarter, Kowloon. Other than that, it can be kept to have as a part of the collection.
Trivia[]
- Although the Hang On game isn't normally obtainable in the Xbox version of Shenmue II, it can be added to your inventory through modding since the code to enable it is still within the game's files.
