Iron Palm (Hànzì: 小檎打, Pinyin: Xiǎoqíndǎ, On'yomi: Kokinda) is a Taijiquan move that Jianmin Tao teaches Ryo Hazuki when he is learning about the wude. Ryo is told to practice the move on a tree until he is able to cover the ground with leaves in exchange for information about the wude.
Description[]
The move is a simple palm heel strike with the rear hand to the upper midsection or lower facial area. Its force comes from being able to pull strength from the legs and arms simultaneously then directing it with the palm.
Trivia[]
A command QTE demostrating the combination of buttons needed to master the move.
- If the player fails to successfully perform the move for awhile after Jianmin instructs Ryo to perform the move on the tree, a Command QTE will appear demonstrating the combination. Once that's succeeded, the move will be mastered and the story will continue. [1]
