Kyosuke Nishida (西田 恭輔 Nishida Kyōsuke) was the boy whose toy plane hit Akio Enoki in Sakuragaoka Park, Yokosuka, Japan in the game Shenmue.
Biography[]
Being a spoiled child, Kyosuke knows nothing about manners. He actually lived outside Sakuragaoka but likes to venture there and play. It seems he has dinner alone all the time because his parents are working, leaving him very isolated.
Shenmue[]
Kyosuke's toy plane hits Enoki's face, and he and Tetsuya Nagashima threaten him for it. Nozomi Harasaki stands up for the child, and they attempt to sexually assault her, until Ryo Hazuki intervenes and beats up the two thugs. Kyosuke then thanks Ryo and runs away.
Shenmue the Animation[]

In Shenmue the Animation Episode 1, Enoki and Nagashima threaten Kyosuke as they do in the game. This time, however, he ruins Enoki's ice cream rather than hitting him in the face with a toy plane. Nozomi defends Kyosuke, and Ryo intervenes and beats Enoki and Nagashima up.
Etymology[]
- The name Kyosuke means "respectful, polite" (恭) (kyo) and "help" (輔) (suke).
- Kyosuke's surname Nishida means "west" (西) (nishi) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
