Mingyi Ye (葉 明義 Yè Míng Yì) is the owner of Wise Men's Kung Fu in the Wise Men's Quarter, Wan Chai, Hong Kong in the game Shenmue II.
Biography[]
Mingyi is very knowledgeable of the martial arts. He is also the grandfather of Mingzhen Ye who is the assistant instructor at the Guang Martial Arts School. He says that he wouldn't mind if Mingzhen married the master at Man Mo Temple Xiuying Hong. He also is a friend of Yuanda Zhu and the two used to eat together at Man Mo Bistro before Zhu's disappearance.
Shenmue II[]
Ryo Hazuki can purchase move scrolls at Mingyi's shop. He can also learn from Mingyi that Yuanda Zhu owned a company called Five Stars Corporation and that he wrote a book on martial arts called the Wulinshu which is kept at the Man Mo Temple library.
