Shenmue II[]

When Ryo Hazuki enters the Guang Martial Arts School for the first time, Mingzhen and Linjian block his path with broadswords. Master Zhoushan then tells them that he's a guest and to let him through.

After Ryo learns about the Wulinshu, and passes the Guang Martial Arts School, he'll be stopped by Mingzhen and he says that the master wants to see him. Zhoushan then teaches Ryo the Wild Throw move as a token of his gratitude for saving his friend Guixiang Lee from the "landsharks" that were threatening her. He'll master the move there if he succeeds Zhoushan's instructions.

Before Ryo leaves Hong Kong to go to Kowloon, he can say goodbye to Mingzhen.
