The New Yokosuka Harbor (新横須賀港 Shin Yokosuka-kō) is a large harbor located in the Amihama District of Yokosuka in the game Shenmue. The port is home to a large shipping company operated by the Alpha Trading Company and is home to both Japanese and United States naval bases.
The harbor district is split into two areas, the larger, New harbor district and the old district. The old district is also filled with warehouses but appears to be closed off to the general public.
The area is home to many foreign sailors whose travels to Dobuita at night help to bolster Yokosuka's local economy. A subset of these sailors have become involved in criminal activity and formed a gang called The Mad Angels, who extort money out of the harbor workers.
