If you transfer a completed Shenmue I save to Shenmue II with this photo obtained, which can be done in every version of the game except for the Xbox version, it will be in your inventory.

Trivia[]
- Since the Xbox version of Shenmue II does not allow you to transfer your save, as the first Shenmue was never released on the Xbox, this photo is mysteriously missing. Though through modding, it can be unlocked in your inventory as it's still within the game's files. [1]
- In the Japanese What's Shenmue? demo for the Sega Dreamcast, this photo is available in your inventory from the start.
- It is unknown by who and when the picture was taken, but it is likely not so long prior to Iwao Hazuki's death.
