Shingo Murasaki (村崎 真吾 Murasaki Shingō) is a leading member of the Mad Angels.
Biography[]
Shingo is obsessed with military supplies, always wearing camouflage clothes and army boots. He has a nervous, cold-blooded personality that causes him to take complete, merciless revenge on anyone who crosses him. Even the other members of the Mad Angels are afraid of him. He and Minoru Okayasu, another leading member of the Mad Angels, have known each other for a long time. They usually hang out together.
Shenmue[]
Shingo first appears along with Minoru Okayasu, Tadashi Hama and Yoshihide Hatanaka accompanying Charlie Grant at the construction site in Sakuragaoka in order to lure Ryo Hazuki into a fight with them. Charlie took Gaowen Xie's soccer ball and promised to give it back to him if he took Ryo to the construction site. Ryo however, is able to defeat Charlie and his men.
During Ryo's lunch break on his second day of work at the harbor, Shingo and Minoru harass Mark Kimberly thinking that he's connected with Master Chen. They kick his lunch into the ocean and hurt him. Ryo intervenes and defeats them both and they flee. On the evening of Ryo's third day of work, he finds Shingo and several other Mad Angels members viciously kicking Mark on the ground, and intervenes and defeats them all on his own.
In the 70-Man Battle, Shingo is the first boss. Ryo is able to defeat him and all the other men.
Shenmue the Animation[]

Shingo appears as an antagonist in Shenmue the Animation Episode 2. He along with Charlie and the other guys ambush Ryo at the construction site in Sakuragaoka when Charlie learns that Ryo is looking for him. Later in the episode, Tony Abrams and Smith Bradley lead to Ryo to the New Yokosuka Movie Theatre, so Shingo, Charlie and the other guys can ambush him. However, Shingo and the other Mad Angels are effortlessly defeated by Ryo.
Etymology[]
- name Shingo means "real, genuine" (真) (shin) and "I, me" (吾) (go).
- Shingo's surname Murasaki means "town, village" (村) (mura) and "cape, peninsula" (崎) (saki).
