The Golden Goose (萬金堂 Wàn Jīntáng) is a casino located on New Paradise within Niaowu, Guilin in the game Shenmue III. The entrance is on the upper-floor and has gambling games like Lucky Hit, Turtle Racing, and Flower, Bird, Wind and Moon in which can be played by exchanging yuan for tokens. The lower-floor contains a posh VIP basement area with alcohol and expensive furniture and is only accessible with a VIP Card. The Red Snakes gang members like to hang out in the VIP area and they supposedly own this casino as employees refuse to provide any information about them.
Shenmue III[]
As Ryo Hazuki is trying to gather information about the Red Snakes to find out where Shenhua Ling's father is held captive, he gets information that Red Snakes gang members like to hang out in the casino, specifically on the VIP area. Ryo tries to enter the VIP room, but he is stopped as he needs a VIP membership. Once Ryo obtains a VIP membership, he barges right into the gang members, fights them, and gets more information about their hideout.
