The Tomato Convenience Store (トマトマート Tomato Māto, lit. "Tomato Mart") is a convenience store which is located in Dobuita, Yokosuka, Japan in the game Shenmue. Ryo Hazuki can purchase items such as food, batteries, matches, candles, or cassette tapes. It is a helpful shop that seems to be open 24/7, these shops seem to belong to a chain as these shops can also be found in areas of Hong Kong and Guilin.

Raffle Prizes[]
If Ryo buys either Caramel, Potato Chips, Chocolate, or a cassette tape, he gets to draw a ticket from the raffle and possibly win a rare item. Additionally, drink cans purchased from Vending Machines have a chance to be a Winning Can, which can be exchanged for a ticket. The chances to get a winning ticket are normally very low, but slightly increase on certain days, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

- Second Prize - Hang On or Space Harrier Sega Saturn Game.

- The store in Dobuita plays a jingle which can be heard from quite a distance away.
- Initially there were plans for Ryo to be able to purchase band-aids at the Tomato Convenience Store in Dobuita, however it was cut in the final game.
- In the Japanese version of the games, the Tomato Convenience Stores are called the "Tomato Mart" (トマトマート Tomato Māto).
