Yingshuihe (Hànzì: 蛍水川, Pinyin: Yíngshuǐchuān, On'yomi: Keisuisen) is a fictional long river in Guilin. Both Langhuishan and Bailu are located on the banks of this watercourse. Near the end of Shenmue II, Ryo follows this river to the mountains, to reach Bailu.
- This origin of the name of this river is linked to the presence of many fireflies (蛍).
- In the English version of the game, the name of the river is transliterated uncorrectly from Chinese. The last character is in fact 川 (chuān). The "hé" pronounciation probably comes from 河, which is another character for "river" in Chinese.
